New application forms

The CCD has set new rates and introduced new application forms as of January 1, 2021. License holders who wish to apply for a project licence from 1 January 2021 must use a new application form.

In addition to announcing new rates for 2021, the CCD has also updated its application forms to be in line with European regulations. Per 1 January 2021, the new forms are required for new project licence applications. Dossiers which are already being processed by us, but have not yet been submitted to the CCD, may be supplemented with a separate attachment answering the additional questions on the new form until 1 April 2021. However, the non-technical summary (NTS) must be submitted in the new form, since soon all new European NTS’s will be published in a standard format. The most important changes in the forms are the following:

  • Project licence application: added option to explain a change, administrative questions modified to make processing more efficient
  • Project proposal: questions are clearer, and consistent with Animal Ethics Committee (DEC) advice form
  • Attachments: questions are clearer, order has been improved, additional question about killing animals
  • NTS: option added for retrospective evaluation, questions standardised to English (answers must still be in Dutch)
