Guide to the experimental design and statistics

Statistics are an important part of using animals for research in order to achieve a good quality experiment. Statistics offers instruments to determine the minimum number of animals you need to demonstrate a certain expected effect with sufficient evidential value (power analysis), as well as instruments to analyze the measurements (descriptive and inferential statistics), so that you can draw responsible conclusions.
